Dr Michael Paterson OBE gives presentations regularly to audiences ranging in size from half a dozen to several hundred.  While using his incredible  experiences to inspire those he speaks to, Michael encourages audiences to feel part of the presentation and can make people feel at ease when asking questions. Michael leaves his audiences with new learning and  a sense of  satisfaction.

A clinical psychologist colleague,  John Spector, who has regularly retained Dr Paterson to deliver trainings says,

"He has the ability to engage with an audience in a remarkably effective way using his considerable gifts of communication, his wonderful sense of humour, and a wealth of clinical experience".

Carol Forgash, psychotherapist, author, speaker, and former Board President of EMDR-Humanitarian Assistance Programs (USA) invited Dr Paterson to contribute to a recent  book she edited.  About Michael's ability  as a speaker she says,
"His conference presentations are notable for their clarity, as well as for his engaging and informative training style. He is an extremely effective trainer."
“Michael is a superb role model for anyone who needs to deliver through adversity.  He is eloquent and articulate but always self effacing.  Listening to Michael is one of life’s most inspiring and humbling experiences.”

Business Guru, Writer, Broadcaster

Michael was the inspirational speaker who set the tone for the whole of Management Month when the theme was ‘Making the most of it’.  He was very open about his own early career when he admits he didn’t make the most of his abilities.  However the power of his message comes through after the tragic incident in which he was involved.  His courage and resolve are an inspiration to us all.  Michael is now involved in helping others to realise the power that lies within us and helps others to confront their fears and phobias.  We had a full audience and Michael kept their attention throughout his talk.  I was delighted with the feedback from the Managers who attended and I am confident that his message was passed on to many others within organisations in N Ireland.
